Purpose and Description
Drop is a multimedia lesson type that supports interactive exploring, previewing, and reviewing a wide range of concepts that require classification, categorization, or sequencing. It can be used for whole-class presentation or with one, two, or more students interacting with the screen simultaneously.
Items on the screen are matched up to target items in the center of the screen. The cards displayed in the ring can display images, text, or both. The cards not attached to the ring can display text, images, or sound. The Drop lesson supports multiple rounds of play, and each round can be titled according to topic.
The Drop lesson works well with many other lesson types and project apps in Snowflake that focus on similar educational concepts.
How it works: Play Mode
On "My Lessons" page search for the lesson that you want to create. Use the filters to the right to streamline your search. Once you find the desired lesson, touch the "Play" icon located on the middle of the lesson to open it.
Students drag items on a screen to match them to the correct item on a rotating ring. The rotating ring can be moved by dragging on the background, and can be zoomed in and out by pinching.
The button in the top right corner of the screen can be toggled to display which items are correctly placed, indicated by a small check on each tile. After one round is completed, students advance to the next round.

Any text entered in the left-side box will appear on the cards that are scattered on the screen. Text typed into the right-side box will appear on the cards that display on the rotating ring.
